The Walker
One of Khalil's favorite toys at daycare is the walker. I decided to purchase him a similar one for home. The one he had previously wasn't really sturdy enough for him to pull up on without falling over. He got that one for Christmas - it's a push ride walker. You can see it in the previous pictures. He loves this one. This one reminds us of a walker for senior citizens.
And who said my baby was fat?
9 months old |
Khalil went for his 9 month check up today. He weighs exactly 20lbs (40 percentile), 28 inches long (40 percentile) and his head is 18 inches (60 percentile). So what my baby has a head larger than average. That just means he got lots of brain. But one thing I know for sure is that he is not fat. Short but not fat. People keep telling me he's a big boy but come to find out he's not. I completed the QSAT survey at the doctor's office today. This survey let's the doctor know if your baby is developing properly. He was above in all areas. See I told you he was smart! He recently learned how to bend down from a table to pick up a toy. He worked on it for a few days but he finally got it. He still doesn't have any teeth so Dr. Webster suggested I not move him to stage 3 foods or table foods yet. A little too late because he has already tried a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and pancakes.
